Do I have to be an Australian Dancer?

Yes, You have to a registered Australian Dancer to compete.

Do I have to 'qualify' at my State Championships to compete?

No, there is no formal qualification. But your teacher will tell you if you are ready to compete at National Level. They have years of experience and will guide you on this.

How much does it cost to compete?

To help budget for the competition . . you must pay when you submit your entry form. Family and friends will pay to watch. Prices will be published here as soon as they are available. Some costs are listed under details >costs section.

Where do the Adjudicators come from?

They are overseas adjudicators from UK Ireland US and Canada. Biographies will be included as soon as they are available.

Will there be any rule changes this year?

Yes, there are amendments to rules regarding 'toe stands'. These come into effect on1 September 2005. Details will be included later.
